Google Workspace Tasks is the new feature that comes with the lab. To enable the ‘Tasks’ lab, please select the next-generation option enabled in your Google Workspace control panel. Please also confirm that you’ve enabled new services.
Users will also need to choose those labs in their own Gmail settings after logging into their respective inboxes.
Note, if you don’t have Google Talk (chat) enabled, then the ‘Tasks’ feature will not be available. To resolve this issue, please enable Google Talk.
